MLB announces umpiring crew for the 2015 National League Championship Series

2015 MLB NLCSMajor League Baseball announced on Friday the umpiring crew for the National League Championship Series between the Cubs and Mets, which begins Saturday night at 8:07 pm at Citi Field.

Rob Drake, Timm Timmons, Ted Barrett, Paul Emmel, Eric Cooper and Bill Miller will be the on-field officiating crew for games one and two, with Mark Wegner serving as the replay official and Mike Estabrook as his assistant in those games.

When the series shifts to Chicago on Tuesday, Drake will serve as the replay official with assistance from Estabrook, and Wegner will shift to the on-field crew for the duration of the series.

Barrett will oversee the crew assigned to the National League Championship Series. This is his 21st career Postseason assignment, including his seventh LCS. Drake will call balls and strikes in game one of the NLCS.

Barrett, Cooper, Emmel and Miller officiated the American League Wild Card Game this Postseason. Wegner was a Replay Official for a Wild Card Game this Postseason.
