Mets will open the 2015 National League Division Series in Los Angeles
If home field advantage meant anything to the Mets after clinching the National League East – as Terry Collins said it did – they’ve flushed that opportunity in the toilet.
Officially, at that.
With the Mets losing five games in a row and two games on Saturday against the Nationals, coupled with the Dodgers defeating the Padres on Saturday in Los Angeles, the Dodgers clinched home field advantage in the Division Series against the Mets.
The Mets will fly to Los Angeles on Wednesday, hold a team workout at Dodger Stadium on Thursday, and open the Division Series against the Dodgers on Friday night, October 9 in Chavez Ravine.
Jacob deGrom will face Clayton Kershaw in game one.
The start time for game one has not yet been announced.
