Mets vs DBacks DiamondbacksHere is what I am looking for from the Mets tonight:

Colon’s two-seamer.

Colon depends on the feel and command of his two-seam fastball, and it’s something he was struggling to corral when he was struggling for much of May. It’s looked much better lately, but tonight its going to have to be particularly spot on in the dryer and more hitter-friendly conditions of Chase Field. Otherwise, it could be a long night for the veteran right-hander.

Mets have to find some offense in that park.

They’re going to have to find a way to put some runs on the board for Colon tonight. At some point, they have to find a way to consistently support the starting pitcher, regardless of who is here and who is not.

That means, get bunts down, get creative with some hit and runs, and find ways to keep the train moving when guys get on base. It’s boring and monotonous to watch a station-to-station offense.
