Vic Black has suffered a setback in his recovery from shoulder soreness/weakness, and there is no timetable for his return.
Sandy Alderson said Black will undergo an MRI on his neck and/or shoulder after he showed reduced velocity during his rehab outing with Double-A Binghamton.
Last week, Terry Collins said Black could return within a week once he pitches back- to-back days, but now Black’s immediate future is very uncertain.
