With the Mets trailing by four runs in the ninth inning with two outs and the bases loaded on Saturday, Anthony Recker hit a grand slam to tie the Rangers 4-4.
It was Recker’s first and only home run of the spring, but finished the exhibition season with seven extra-base hits and 11 RBI.
