Over the weekend, Terry Collins told reporters the team will monitor Juan Lagares‘ elbow this season.
However, Lagares has since told Mike Vorkunov of the Star Ledger his elbow feels fine, and there are no residual effects from the injury he sustained last September which caused him to miss the final ten games of the season.
In addition, according to Vorkunov, Lagares said the club has yet to approach him about possibly monitoring his elbow over the course of the season.
