

On Tuesday at the Hospital for Special Surgery, Curtis Granderson underwent surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb, the team announced on Thursday.
Granderson is expected to be ready for Spring Training.
Granderson originally injured his thumb sliding in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series against the Cubs.He hit .259/.364/.457 with 26 home runs and 70 RBI in 157 games in 2015.
He hit .283/.375/.491 with three home runs and 12 RBI in 14 games during the postseason.
