Mets will open the 2015 National League Division Series in Los Angeles

Mets Dodgers NLCSBaronIf home field advantage meant anything to the Mets after clinching the National League East – as Terry Collins said it did – they’ve flushed that opportunity in the toilet.

Officially, at that.

With the Mets losing five games in a row and two games on Saturday against the Nationals, coupled with the Dodgers defeating the Padres on Saturday in Los Angeles, the Dodgers clinched home field advantage in the Division Series against the Mets.

The Mets will fly to Los Angeles on Wednesday, hold a team workout at Dodger Stadium on Thursday, and open the Division Series against the Dodgers on Friday night, October 9 in Chavez Ravine.

Jacob deGrom will face Clayton Kershaw in game one.

The start time for game one has not yet been announced.

Bad for business, all around: bad playing, bad line ups, bad strategy – no momentum, no spark, no pride. This whole week has been a bummer!
Shame on Terry- unless of course, Sandy was the one pulling the strings.
They looked like bums, not champions.
    🍀Lets Go Mets⚾!

  2. Agree with you 100%. I say there was a “secret plan” there to play Spring Training lineups this past week and go to LA rested and refreshed. Let’s hope so.
Anyone think that Francona or Showalter might be looking for a job this winter?
