Rafael Montero appears to making progress in his recovery from a strained right rotator cuff, finally.
Montero allowed a run on a walk and three hits in two innings for Single-A St. Lucie against the Fort Myers Miracle at Tradition Field on Tuesday night.
It was Montero’s second rehab appearance since having his rehabilitation rebooted in late July. He last started for the GCL Mets last Thursday, during which he allowed three hits in three scoreless innings.
Montero has been on the disabled list since April 29.
