The Mets received some good news on two injured relievers on Thursday.

Rafael Montero – who experienced more shoulder stiffness after a recent rehab appearance with the GCL Mets – has been cleared to resume throwing again.

There is still no timetable for Montero to return. He has been on the disabled list since April 29 with a right rotator cuff strain.

In addition, Jerry Blevins has finally been cleared to throw after spending more than three months on the disabled list with a distal radius fracture in his left arm.

Blevins has been rehabbing at the team’s minor league complex in Port St. Lucie. He has been on the disabled list since April 20.
