Rafael Montero has been on the disabled list since the end of April with a right rotator cuff strain.
He ha made several attempts to return to the mound while rehabbing at the team’s minor league complex in Port St. Lucie, and recently made two rehab appearances for the GCL Mets.
But Montero has experienced more stiffness, so he will be evaluated by team doctors to determine the next step in the process.
There is still no timetable for Montero to return.
