BaronTravis d’Arnaud took another step towards returning to the Mets on Wednesday night in Binghamton.

D’Arnaud caught all nine innings for the B-Mets against the New Britain Rock Cats on Wednesday, going 1-for-5 in Binghamton’s 11-4 win over New Britain at NYSEG Stadium.

D’Arnaud is 6-for-20 during his rehab assignment. He is expected to join the team in New York tomorrow and be activated in time for the club’s three-game series against the Nationals.

D’Arnaud has been on the disabled list since June 20 with a left elbow strain.
