Travis d’Arnaud continues to work his way towards returning to the Mets at the end of the week.

D’Arnaud went 1-for-3 with a single for Double-A Binghamton against the New Britain Rock Cats at NYSEG Stadium. He caught seven innings.

Presumably, d’Arnaud will catch nine innings either tomorrow or Wednesday, and serve as the designated hitter in the other game. He is now 4-for-11 during his rehab assignment.

Terry Collins said last week d’Arnaud would need 20-25 at-bats before being activated from the disabled list.

He has been on the disabled list since June 20 with an elbow strain.
