Travis d’Arnaud has progressed in his rehab from a hyperextended elbow to the point he will begin a rehab assignment with Single-A St. Lucie tonight.
Assuming d’Arnaud has not setbacks, Terry Collins is hopeful after d’Arnaud takes 20-25 at-bats the catcher can be activated from the disabled list.
D’Arnaud has been on the disabled list since June 20.
