Travis d’Arnaud continues to work his way back from a hyperextended left elbow which has sidelined him since June 20.
He has been working at the team’s minor league complex in Port St. Lucie, Florida for a couple of weeks, and has now taken live batting practice for two consecutive days.
If he continues to progress, d’Arnaud could begin a rehab assignment with Single-A St. Lucie as soon as this weekend, with an eye on returning the following weekend.
D’Arnaud has played in a total of 19 games in 2015.
