Earlier this week, several Mets – including Matt Harvey – visited Big Sur during their free time on their west coast trip to Los Angeles and San Francisco.
On Wednesday evening, Harvey posted a picture of himself on the flight to Big Sur:

For some reason, fans on Instagram criticized Harvey for not being on the team charter from San Francisco to New York, thinking he was on a private jet back from the west coast.
When the team charter landed earlier Thursday, Harvey posted this picture of him with the club, along with the caption:

The confusion was caused by the timing of Harvey’s post – it came at approximately the same time the team flight from San Francisco took off for New York, although Harvey can be seen in the distant background of Jeurys Familia’s post to Instagram:

Never realized how much Matt Cerrone looks like Matt Harvey?! Come to think of it, I’ve never been in the room with both of them there at the same time…Just Sayin’…😉
