It’s been almost three weeks since Travis d’Arnaud was involved in a collision which hyperextended his elbow and strained elbow ligaments.

And as of Tuesday night, d’Arnaud is no closer to returning.

Terry Collins said on Tuesday afternoon d’Arnaud remains in an elbow brace almost 24 hours a day, and continues to receive treatment to restore complete range of motion.

Collins said d’Arnaud is not close to having the elbow brace removed, and so he cannot resume baseball activities until that happens.

d’Arnaud has been on the 15-day disabled list since June 21. He has played in 19 games this season.
