Jenrry Mejia is set to be activated in time for Tuesday’s game against the Giants in San Francisco.
Terry Collins said on Sunday morning in Los Angeles Mejia will pitch for Las Vegas today, and rejoin the team on Tuesday.
Collins said Mejia is not allowed in the clubhouse while on the restricted list, which is why he will not be with the team tomorrow.
The club will announce a corresponding roster move when Mejia is activated.
