It’s been two weeks since Travis d’Arnaud was involved in the collision with AJ Pierzynski which hyper-extended his elbow at Turner Field.
Last Sunday, d’Arnaud was seen in an elbow brace and ace bandage on his left elbow, eight days after the injury.
And apparently, d’Arnaud’s status remains mostly unchanged.
On Friday afternoon in Los Angeles, Sandy Alderson said d’Arnaud remains in that elbow brace nearly 24 hours a day, as team doctors and trainers work to restore mobility and flexibility in his left elbow.
Alderson offered no indication d’Arnaud would be returning soon.
He has been on the disable list since June 21.

Not only does Travis get injured too often but it appears to take more time then usual to heal from every injury that he’s sustained throughout his baseball career.

travis doesn’t play smart baseball at all. He is also really disappointing, and letting his team down. It gets to the point that his injuries are the result of a reckless carelessness. d’Arnaud needs to be held accountable for his inability to play intelligently and safely enough to avoid these unnecessary injuries.
