Matt Reynolds, Travis Taijeron selected to Pacific Coast League All-Star team

The Las Vegas 51s will be sending two players to the Triple-A All-Star Game in 2015.

The 51s announced infielder Matt Reynolds and outfielder Travis Taijeron will be on the PCL All-Star team which will face off against the International League All-Stars on July 15 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Reynolds, 24, has posted a .270/.328/.404 line with four home runs and 43 RBI in 73 games for the 51s in 2015. He has 23 multiple-hit games in 2015 and has racked up 22 doubles in 320 plate appearances.

Reynolds was the club’s second round selection in the 2012 first-year player draft.

Taijeron, 26, has posted a .297/.407/.545 line in 67 games for Las Vegas in 2015 with 13 home runs and 40 RBI in 253 plate appearances. Six of those home runs came in June and he has 16 multi-hit games on the season.

Taiejron was the Mets 18th round selection in the 2011 first-year player draft.
