OF Brandon Nimmo, RHP Paul Sewald, and infielders Luis Cessa and Josh Rodriguez will represent the Binghamton Mets at the Eastern League All-Star Classic in Portland, Maine on July 15, the club announced.

Nimmo, 22, missed four weeks thanks to a knee injury this season but has still been impressive for Double-A Binghamton, posting a .292/.359/.400 line with two home runs and 11 RBI in 46 games with the B-Mets this season and is coming off a career-best 14-game hitting streak. It is Nimmo’s third All-Star selection in his professional career – he was an All-Star with Savannah in 2013 and St. Lucie in 2014.

Sewald, 25, is currently the B-Mets closer and has 14 saves to go along with a 1.67 ERA in 27 games this season. His 14 saves are the fourth-best mark in the Eastern League, and has converted his last 13 save chances.

Cessa, 23, is a converted infielder to pitcher, leads the team with seven wins and has a 2.56 ERA in 77 1/3 innings in 2015. He has allowed one run or less while throwing six innings or more in five of his last six starts.

Rodriguez, 30, is making his third Eastern League All-Star appearance in 2015. His 13 home runs are a league-high and his 50 RBI is second in the league.
