After hitting .304 in Triple-A Las Vegas this season, Steven Matz stepped to the plate with two on and two out in the 2nd inning. In his first major league at-bat, Matz crushed a ball to center field, over the head of Billy Hamilton for a double, driving in two runs and causing the Citi Field crowd and his family to go nuts.
