On May 16, Mets OF prospect Brandon Nimmo sprained the ACL in his knee, and a week later Binghamton Mets manager Pedro Lopez Nimmo was expected to miss four-to-six weeks with the injury.
Nimmo has been at the team’s minor league complex in Port St. Lucie rehabbing his knee, and Lopez said on Saturday the outfielder has begun playing in extended spring training games, according to Chris Soto on Twitter.
Lopez did not offer a timetable for Nimmo to return to the B-Mets.
