Travis d’Arnaud and Dilson Herrera have both been transferred to Triple-A Las Vegas to finish their rehab assignments on Monday, and both were productive in the 51s 5-4 10-inning win over the El Paso Chihuahuas.
Herrera hit off for the 51s and went 1-for-5 with a double and an RBI.
D’Arnaud hit third for Las Vegas and went 1-for-5 with a double and two strikeouts.
Herrera has hit in every game since beginning his rehab assignment last week in St. Lucie – he is 6-for-16 in four rehab games.
D’Arnaud has also hit in every game since restarting his rehab assignment last week in St. Lucie – he’s 7-for-15 in those four rehab games.
Herrera has been on the disabled list since May 15 and d’Arnaud since April 20, both with broken fingers. Both players could reportedly return in time for Wednesday’s game against the Giants.
