Travis d’Arnaud and Dilson Herrera could be on the verge of being ready to rejoin the Mets.

D’Arnaud went 3-for-4 and drove in the only run for the St. Lucie Mets in their 7-1 loss to the Jupiter Hammerheads at Roger Dean Stadium on Saturday. He caught the entire game for the St. Lucie Mets.

D’Arnaud is 6-for-10 since restarting his rehab assignment after sustaining a bone bruise in his wrist on May 28. He has been on the disabled list since April 20 with a broken finger.

Meanwhile, Herrera was also active for St. Lucie on Saturday, and went 1-for-4 with a double and scored the run d’Arnaud drove in. He played the entire game at second base.

Herrera is 5-for-11 in three rehab games for the St. Lucie Mets. He has been on the disabled list since May 15 with a broken finger.

  1. Michael, How has Herrera been able to get back into playing baseball roughly two and a half weeks after breaking his finger, yet d’arnaud was out for over a month before resuming activities?
