Injury updates: Parnell productive in Binghamton, d’Arnaud, Herrera productive for St. Lucie

BaronThree injured Mets were active in their rehab assignments on Friday night:

  • Bobby Parnell pitched a scoreless inning for the Binghamton Mets at NYSEG Stadium. He induced one groundout and two flyouts and his fastball was in the mid-90s, reports Lynn Worthy of the Binghamton Press and Sun Bulletin.
  • Travis d’Arnaud served as the designated hitter for the St. Lucie Mets on Friday night and went 2-for-4 with a two-run single in the second inning against the Jupiter Hammerheads and Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter.
  • Dilson Herrera went 3-for-4 with three singles for the St. Lucie Mets in Jupiter.

Parnell has been on the disabled list all year as he continues to recover from April, 2014 Tommy John Surgery. D’Arnaud has been on the disabled list since April 20 with a broken finger. Herrera has been on the disabled list since May 15 with a broken finger.
