Vic Black has moved his rehab assignment to Triple-A Las Vegas, but his debut with the 51s did not go well on Thursday night in Memphis, Tennessee.
Black started the seventh inning in relief of Darin Gorski and allowed four runs on two hits with two walks in only 1/3 of an inning.
Black has allowed seven earned runs in ten innings in 11 rehab appearances between Single-A St. Lucie, Double-A Binghamton, and Triple-A Las Vegas.
He has been on the disabled list all year with weakness in his arm caused by a herniated disc in his neck.
