Travis d’Arnaud and Dilson Herrera are officially on the road back to the Mets.
Both d’Arnaud and Herrera were active for Single-A St. Lucie on Thursday night – Herrera went 1-for-3 with a double and two strikeouts and d’Arnaud went 1-for-2 with a walk.
Both of them played five innings at their respective positions in the field.
D’Arnaud has been on the 15-day disabled list since April 20 with a broken finger. He was shutdown from his rehab assignment last week after he suffered a bone bruise in his right wrist. Collins has said d’Arnaud will need another 20-25 at-bats before being considered for activation.
Herrera has been on the 15-day disabled list since May 15 after he suffered a broken finger performing fielding drills.
