The Mets are getting one person back from injury tonight, but will be without another as a result of a minor injury.
Michael Cuddyer has a stiff neck and is not in Wednesday night’s lineup against the Padres.
Darrell Ceciliani is starting in Cuddyer’s place in left field and batting sixth.
Cuddyer has an eight-game hitting streak and is hitting .351 over his last 15 games.
