Unlike Vic Black who has progressed to Las Vegas for the final stage of his rehab assignment, Bobby Parnell has remained with the Binghamton Mets, as he has struggled mightily during both stints of his rehab assignments.

Those struggles continued on Wednesday night.

Parnell allowed three runs on as many hits with two walks and no strikeouts in the seventh inning of the B-Mets game against the Trenton Thunder at NYSEG Stadium.

Parnell has allowed eight runs in 1 1/3 innings over his last two rehab outings. His velocity on Wednesday was in the low 90s, and he threw only 14 of his 27 pitches for strikes.

He has allowed nine earned runs in only 4 1/3 innings with the B-Mets.

Parnell is on the 15-day disabled list as he continues his recovery from April, 2014 Tommy John Surgery.
