Both David Wright and Travis d’Arnaud continue to work their way back from their respective injuries, and Terry Collins said both took a significant step on Friday.
Wright and d’Arnaud both took batting practice at the team’s minor league complex in Port St. Lucie, Florida today, the manager said. The expectation is they will both be ready to begin minor league rehab assignments sometime next week.
Wright has been on the 15-day disabled list with a hamstring strain and a sore back. D’Arnaud was placed on the 15-day disabled list after breaking his pinky on April 20.
