Yes, it’s that time once again. With the reports that Troy Tulowitzki will soon meet with his agent to discuss if it’s time to request for a trade from the Rockies, it again raises the question, “should the Mets trade for Troy Tulowitzki?”
Tulowitzki, 30, is batting .298/.306/.481 with 13 doubles, two home runs, 11 RBI, two walks, 24 strikeouts and a .786 OPS this season, while being owed $114M over the next six years and a $15M option ($4M buyout) in 2021.
Greg Amsinger, Harold Reynolds and Bill Ripken wondered if the Mets should make a play for Tulo as well on MLB Network’s ‘MLB Tonight’ show on Tuesday. Here’s what they had to say…

Nope.. He will be hurt by July, not worth giving up stud pitching. Sandy knows this. Informed Met fans dont want to mortgage future for another aging star. If they can give up lower minors guys like Molina/Gsellman…ok, as long as they take Granderson back, Just something for Harold Reynolds to talk about on TV.

Get Castro from the Cubs and call it a day , cmon Tulowitzki is just decent outside of Coors and will get hurt in Citifield trying to leg out doubles.
