Banner Day at Citi Field set for Sunday, June 14

The Mets renewed tradition of Banner Day is set for Sunday, June 14 at Citi Field, the team announced on Monday.

SNY’s field reporter Steve Gelbs, Mets radio broadcaster Howie Rose, and WOR 710 radio personality Todd Schnitt will serve as judges for the event.

The judges will select three finalists to join the online Banner Day winner, and fans both in the stadium and at home will vote for the winner online.

The winner of Banner Day will receive four VIP tickets, the opportunity to watch batting practice on the field and a non-game day Citi Field tour.

The guidelines are as follows:

  • Banner Day participants must have tickets to the game.Participants must check in at the Bullpen Plaza on 126thStreet at 37th Avenue.
  • Registration begins at 10 AM.
  • Size limit is 22″ x 28″.
  • No vulgar or abusive language.
  • The banners can contain no commercial messages are allowed, but can be commercially produced.
  • A maximum of four fans per banner.
