Travis d’Arnaud remains on-track as he continues to recover from his broken hand.

Terry Collins spoke with reporters before Sunday’s game in Philadelphia and said d’Arnaud will visit with team doctors on Tuesday, and is expected to have the cast on his hand removed.

If all is well, d’Arnaud could resume baseball activities this week.

Collins did not offer a definitive time table for d’Arnaud to return.

d’Arnaud has been on the 15-day disabled list since April 20 when he broke his hand after being hit by a pitch.

Kevin Plawecki has served as the full-time catcher in d’Arnaud’s absence – he has hit .240 with a .643 OPS in 14 games since being called up from Triple-A Las Vegas.
