Coming into play on Thursday, Mets 2B Daniel Murphy was 7-for-50 with five RBI for the season.
But with the bases loaded and one out in the first inning, Murphy cleared the bases with a double to right field.
It was Murphy’s third double of the season – he finished the day with four RBI to give him nine on the season.
