The Mets could be getting one of their power armed relievers back very soon.
Vic Black – who made his second relief outing for Single-A St. Lucie last night – could be activated within a week, reports Mike Puma of the New York Post.
Black threw a scoreless inning of relief for the St. Lucie Mets last night, although he has yet to throw on back-to-back days.
Black has been on the disabled list with weakness and soreness in his right shoulder. He was eligible to be activated last Sunday.
