Bobby Parnell roughed up in his second rehab outing

M BaronIt wasn’t a pretty outing for the rehabbing Bobby Parnell on Thursday night.

Parnell allowed two runs on two hits with a walk in the ninth inning of the St. Lucie Mets 14-6 win over Brevard County in Port St. Lucie tonight.

It was Parnell’s second rehab outing – he has allowed two runs in two innings during his assignment.

Parnell was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Opening Day as he continues his recovery from Tommy John Surgery last April. He is expected to return sometime in May.
