Jenrry Mejia was warming up to pitch the ninth inning of Monday’s game, but did not enter the game in the ninth inning as expected.
Mejia was seen going into the clubhouse before the ninth inning with trainer Ray Ramirez.
Gary Cohen said during Monday’s telecast Mejia was complaining of elbow soreness prior to Monday’s game, and Terry Collins described the injury as elbow stiffness.
