Bobby Parnell continues to work his way back from Tommy John Surgery, and told reporters last week he could be ready by mid-April.
Parnell took another step towards reaching that goal, although the results weren’t stellar – he allowed a three-run home run in one inning of work in a minor league game in Port St. Lucie.
Parnell threw 27 pitches, 13 of which were strikes, with his fastball sitting in the 92-94 mph range, according to Matt Ehalt of the Bergen Record.
