With only five days before the Mets leave Florida, the Mets made two more roster cuts on Saturday morning.
The team re-assigned RHP Chasen Bradford and OF Alex Castellanos to minor league camp, according to the team’s reporters in Port St. Lucie.
There are now 37 players remaining in big league camp, two of which are certain to go on the disabled list (Josh Edgin and Zack Wheeler), and another two who might not be ready to start the season (Vic Black and Daniel Murphy).
Scott Rice, Buddy Carlyle, Johnny Monell, Zack Thornton, Matt Reynolds, and Daniel Muno are the only non-roster invitees remaining in big league camp.
