1:44 PM: Daniel Murphy also hit off a tee at Tradition Field today, according to Matt Ehalt of the Bergen Record.
11:32 AM: The clouds maybe clearing for the Mets on the injury front, as both Wilmer Flores and Daniel Murphy were back on the diamond on Wednesday morning participating in infield drills at Tradition Field.
Flores was fielding ground balls at shortstop and looked comfortable in doing so, according to Andy Martino of the Daily News.
Meanwhile, Murphy was doing his drills at first base.
Flores has been sidelined since Sunday after getting hit by a pitch on his foot, and is expected to play in tomorrow’s game against the Nationals in Viera. Murphy pulled his hamstring last week, and was cleared to resume baseball activities today.
