Vic Black has made some progress as he works he way back from shoulder weakness.
Black threw off of flat ground on Tuesday, and told Adam Rubin of ESPN New York the throwing session went well.
Black has not pitched in a game since last week after reporting a shoulder problem. He then underwent an MRI which did not show any structural damage.
