The Mets (3-4) and the Atlanta Braves (2-4) face each other for the third time this Spring today at 1:05 PM at Champion Stadium. Here is what to look for during Tuesday’s game…
Bartolo Colon makes his second start of the Spring, and will look to extend his innings and pitch count. In his first start against the Washington Nationals, Colon threw two perfect innings on just 10 pitches — all strikes.
Travis d’Arnaud is playing for the first time since cutting his finger in a second base collision on Sunday. D’Arnaud is 1-for-11 at the plate to start Spring Training.
Second base prospect Dilson Herrera makes the start at second base on Tuesday, with Daniel Murphy still out due to injury. This will be a good chance to watch Herrera, who will likely be the heir apparent to Murphy at second base.
Today’s game can be heard on MLB Gameday audio.
